This event is heavily oversubscribed. It has been necessary
to reject a number of entries to ensure that the event can be
completed within the planned time.
- Except for 1 event, which was not oversubscribed, all
entries with no entry time have been rejected.
- Rejections have then been made on the basis of submitted
entry times, the entries with the slowest times being
rejected.
Reserves have been identified for every event. If accepted
swimmers do not register their intention to swim by posting
their entry card at the start of the session, reserved will be
invited to swim. Reserves who wish to swim must post their entry
card.
Some reserves WILL swim. The accepted entries include swimmers
who may be involved in the Speedo League Final on the same day.
Where we receive this information in advance, we will endeavour
to notify reserves in advance.
Everyone who has entered will receive a letter this week with
full details of the competition arrangements, rejected entries
and an entry card.
Refunds will be made in respect of:
- All swims that have been rejected
- All reserves who notify us in
advance that they do not wish to swim
- All reserves who post their cards, but are not able to
swim
